Carlos Alberto Alves

He is a secondary school teacher with a degree in Philosophy from the Catholic University of Lisbon, a master’s degree in African History from the University of Lisbon, and a doctorate in Identities, Practices and Representations in the Contemporary World from the University of Coimbra. 

He taught at the University of Cape Verde, the Lusófona University of Cape Verde, and the University of Mindelo between 2014 and 2018. 

As a researcher, he has dedicated himself primarily to the study of contemporary history.
