Filipa Pacheco é formada em Psicologia Clínica pelo ISPA-Instituto Universitário e Mediação Familiar pelo ISCSP-ULisboa. Apaixonada pelo ser humano e as suas histórias, tem trabalhado com crianças de diferentes contextos e faixas etárias e também com adultos (quer em contexto clínico, quer de desenvolvimento de carreira). A autora é mãe de duas crianças, que constantemente a desafiam e enriquecem, com rasgos de criatividade e novos olhares sobre mundo.

O livro “Mãe, a avó é mesmo fixe!” é baseado num momento da história de vida da autora e pretende colocar o foco na criança (um ser simples na sua complexidade) como parte integrante do processo de mudança na família da pessoa com cancro: as crianças sabem que algo está diferente, são mestres em beber os sinais do seu contexto; as crianças têm em si a capacidade de lidar com tudo, desde que bem integradas; e as crianças têm, também elas, o direito de sentir que lhes foi dada a oportunidade de fazerem tudo o que podiam para ajudar (desde o início).

Filipa Pacheco has a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Family Mediation. As someone passionate about the human being and their stories, she has worked with children from different contexts and age groups as well as with adults (both in clinical context and career development). The author is a mother of two kids, who constantly challenge her and help her to become a better person, with bursts of creativity and new perspectives on the world.

The book "Mom, Grandma is really cool!" is based on a moment in the author’s life and intends to emphasize the child (a simple being in its complexity) as an integral part of the change process in the family of a person with cancer: children know that something has changed, they are masters at picking up the signs of their context; children have in themselves the ability to cope with everything, provided they are well integrated; and children also have the right to feel that they have been given the opportunity to do everything they could to help (from the beginning).
